The renovation of Wayland Hall transformed the 41,000 square foot residence hall into an innovative new living-learning community dedicated to the visual and performing arts.  The landscape project successfully blended contemporary design strategies into JMU’s traditional campus context and addressed site design as a major component of the project’s success.
