The site design for Lynchburg City Stadium improves and enhances the game day experience of fans and visitors supporting two local high schools. Amenities include a new entry gate and plaza to create a sense of arrival and pageantry into the stadium, as well as improved pedestrian circulation and vehicular access. The planting strategy creates new visitor spaces within the plaza without interrupting the iconic views to the distant mountains and frames a new home for plaques dedicated to honoring past players, teams and the history of the stadium.
